Lee Streetman is an American painter based in East Texas who is currently pursuing a BFA in Studio Art at The University of Texas at Tyler. Drawing from themes of nostalgia and every-day living, their work comes from referencing original film photographs of candid moments in small town life. Starting with vibrant underpaintings, leaving the underpainting partially uncovered, and having unblended brushstrokes shows Streetman’s distinctive style.
